Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, is a 2012 third-person shooter video game with online playability for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. It is developed by Slant Six Games and published by Capcom. The game is a new installment in the Resident Evil series of video games and was developed by Slant Six Games instead of Capcom. It is set at the same time as Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, but is unrelated to the main series storyline and is a “what-if”, non-canon entry in the series.
U.S.S. Delta team (also known as “Wolfpack”) enters the Raccoon City Underground Laboratory, where they meet up with Alpha team leader HUNK. Their mission: to assist the Alphas in stopping Dr. Birkin from handing over his G-Virus research to the US Military and retrieve the G-Virus. Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City includes three unique sets of characters: Wolfpack, Echo Six and Classic. Wolfpack characters include Vector, Beltway, Lupo, Spectre, Bertha and Four Eyes. Echo Six characters include Willow, Dee-Ay, Tweed, Harley, Shona and Party Girl. Classic characters include Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine, Carlos Oliveira, HUNK, Nicholai Zinoviev, LONE WOLF and Ada Wong.
